This talk will present our work on carbon nanotubes and graphene nanoribbons including synthesis, characterization and electron transport properties. Several new methods of making graphene nanoribbons will be presented, including unzipping carbon nanotubes and lithographic patterning and chemical narrowing. Raman, TEM and electrical transport properties of these materials will be shown.
