| Details: | It is generally expected that the LHC will find new physics by discovering heavy particles at the energy frontier, however it is possible that some new physics is associated with lower energies but weak couplings. I will explain why in general studies of the physics of neutral long lived particles offer special opportunities for the discovery of physics beyond the standard model. For instance neutrino oscillations are uniquely sensitive to potential exotic new fermions and forces.
