Physics at Berkeley Named #3 Graduate Program in the Country by U.S. News & World Report

The Physics Department is proud to have been ranked (in a 4-way tie) the #3 Physics Graduate program in the country by U.S. News & World Report. Our staff and faculty will continue to build on our success and to provide an innovative program for our students. It is important to note that of the other auspicious universities included in the top 6, Cal is the only public institution. The listing is as follows:
