The primary reference is notes that will be made available as pdf's as the course proceeds. Highly recommended is M.R. Spiegel, S. Lipschutz, & J. Liu, "Mathematical Handbook of Formulas and Tables," 2nd ed, Schaum's Outline Series. Do NOT buy the abbreviated version. Occasional reference will be made to other texts, such as D.J. Griffiths, "Introduction to
Quantum Mechanics," (2nd ed.), but it is not necessary to buy one.
