REQUIREMENT:

Students are recommended to attend one discussion section every week.
Homeworks are due 5:00pm sharp. No late homework will be accepted.
There will be one midterm during the regular lecture hour (temporally scheduled on 10/5 for Sec 1 and 10/4 for Sec 2), and a final exam at the end of the semester.
The final grade will be a weighted combination of homework (40%), midterm (20%), and final exam (40%).

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Discussion section starts in the 2^nd week of the semester.
Those who attend Monday discussion section can go to other discussion sections next week due to Holiday on Monday.
Starting on Sept. 8, Sec 2 classroom will be changed to 101 Moffitt from 155 Donner.
The Midterm will take place on 10/4 for Sec 2 and 10/5 for Sec 1 during the regular lecture hours. It is a close-book and close-note exam, but you are allowed to bring two sheets formula. The midterm covers materials up to image charge. Please bring your own blue books.
