Welcome

We are interested in understanding the molecular basis of intracellular cargo transport. By using single molecule fluorescence and force microscopy techniques, we aim to elucidate the force generation mechanism of the cytoplasmic dynein motor and the control of bidirectional transport of vital cargoes within a cell.

Our lab is located in Stanley Hall and Birge Hall at the University of California Berkeley.
