Barbara Jacak: "My Favorite Element"

As part of a series celebrating the 150th birthday of the periodic table hosted by Lawrence Berkeley Lab, Physics Professor and Berkeley Lab scientist Barbara Jacak tells us about her favorite element: Seaborgium. Named after famed chemist and Nobelist Glenn T. Seaborg, element 106 was discovered in 1974 by a Berkeley Lab team led by Albert Ghiorso and is one of #16elements that Berkeley Lab helped discover.
