Holger Müller and James Analytis Elected APS Fellows

Berkeley Physics Congratulates Associate Professor Holger Müller and Assistant Professor James Analytis on being elected as 2019 Fellows of the American Physical Society (APS). James Analytis was nominated by the Division of Condensed Matter Physics "For elucidating the fundamental properties of topological materials, quantum spin liquids, and strange metals".  Holger Müller is cited "For advances in the manipulation of matter waves, including their application to precision measurement of the fine structure constant, to constraint on forces from light scalar fields posited to be dark energy candidates, and to the development of a phase plate for electron microscopy".
