Hartmut Häffner Announced as APS Fellow

Berkeley Physics congratulates Hartmut Häffner on being announced as a 2020 APS Fellow in the Division of Quantum Information. Associate Professor Häffner is cited for seminal contributions to quantum information processing with trapped ions, including the implementation of a universal set of quantum gates, quantum state tomography, development of novel ion traps; and for improving precision measurements with entangled states.
