A Scientific Symposium in Honor of the 75th Birthday of Steven G. Louie

General Information

This is a one-day Scientific Symposium in honor of Professor Steven G. Louie’s 75th birthday. The Symposium will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the University of California, Berkeley, and focus on forefront research topics in the fields of condensed matter physics and materials science, to which Professor Louie has made lasting contributions. The Symposium will begin in the morning and consist of a full day of invited talks by renowned scientists around the world, as well as poster sessions, followed by dinner and discussion in the evening. We are expecting attendance of more than 150 scientists.
