Engage Students. Support Research. Advance Progress.
The Berkeley Physics Partners (BP2) program invites industry partners to collaborate with students and faculty in one of the world’s most innovative physics programs. BP2 provides opportunities for companies to recruit Physics students, work with faculty, and support the department’s top priorities.
Home to more Physics majors than any program in the country and ranked #2 in the world by U.S. News and World Report 2017, Berkeley Physics strives to foster collaboration among some of the world’s brightest students and most distinguished professors. They lead the way in scientific research, challenge the fundamental laws of physics, and advance tomorrow’s ideas and discoveries.
This is how the Department of Physics looks in Fall 2020:
Students
• 320 undergraduate students
