For e-mail, the department recommends that you set up an account with CalMail. Mailing list service is also provided. To setup a calmail account go to the Berkeley Internet Link web site and follow the instructions.

You may also transact e-mail on other campus and research group computer systems. An address "@physics" will be created for all department faculty and staff. The physics department will forward mail to other systems, but will discontinue direct mail service via login or popmail.
