Dr. Fajans was not only a brilliant physicist but also a truly remarkable person. I’ll always remember how he invited several of us from his 111A class to dinner at his home, where his passion for the physics of bicycles was just one of the many ways he shared his enthusiasm and wisdom with us. It’s incredibly sad to hear of his passing, and my heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His impact will not be forgotten.
