Assistant Professor - Quantum Information Science
The University of California, Berkeley is expanding its research and teaching activity in the field of Quantum Information Science (QIS). This broadly encompasses computation, sensing and measurement, simulation, communication, and related areas, as part of Berkeley’s Quantum Initiative.
This search is for a tenure track, assistant professor position. It is expected to result in recruitment of a new faculty member, who will engage with Berkeley's strong existing programs in QIS that encompass various departments, and who will participate in leading future explorations of the fascinating consequences of quantum mechanics for increased understanding of our world and the development of advanced technologies.

Assistant Professor - Gravitational Waves
The Physics Department at the University of California, Berkeley is conducting an open search to fill a tenure-track faculty position for an Assistant Professor in Gravitational Waves (Experiment or Observations). Applications are welcomed from researchers in core areas of experimental physics broadly related to the study of gravitational waves, including, but not strictly limited to, the development of instrumental techniques that have an impact on the detection or analysis of gravitational waves at existing and planned terrestrial or space-borne facilities and advanced data analysis techniques for the study of gravitational waves.
