Physics Honor Program

Requirements to Participate

  • Currently have a 3.3 cumulative (overall) UC GPA
  • Currently have a 3.3 GPA in the Physics major requirements (lower and upper division combined)
  • Currently have a 3.3 GPA in the Physics major upper division courses

Students who meet the requirements can submit their H195A/B proposal/contract, signed by their faculty advisor, to undergraduate advisors Kathleen Cooney: kathleen.cooney@berkeley.edu) or Nitin Srivastava: nitin.srivastava@berkeley.edu. Students should check in with their undergraduate advisor if they are unsure whether they meet GPA requirements as proposals will not be accepted for those below the GPA requirement. Note, too, that GPAs are not rounded up; they must be 3.3 or higher.
