Department Chair Irfan Siddiqi hosted the 2025 Department Welcome event on Monday, September 8, in Room #1 Physics North. The Chair's presentation included highlights on science and research, introductions to new staff and faculty members, a welcome to all new and continuing students, and plans for the future of the Department. Emphasis was placed on Berkeley Physics as a community where everyone is a valuable part of the whole. A reception followed the presentation in the Campanile esplanade outside of Physics North.
