Yu-Ping Lin joined the University of California, Berkeley as a Gordon and Betty Moore Postdoctoral Fellow in September 2022. Before joining Berkeley, he received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2022. Prior to the pursuit of Ph.D., he obtained his M.S. in Physics in 2016 and B.S. in Physics with Minor in Mathematics in 2014 at National Taiwan University.
I am interested in the novel nature of condensed matter systems involving topology/geometry, symmetry, interaction, singular density of states, and/or nonequilibrium (disorder and/or Floquet). I enjoy studying the condensed matter systems with a combination of theoretical modeling, analytic calculation, and numerical computation.
