Our mission is to discover and engineer quantum phenomena and biological processes through the development and application of advanced scientific tools and artificial intelligence.

Our Process

We incorporate physical interactions and fields, topology, symmetry breaking, and dimensionality into our approaches and experiments. Our efforts are focused especially on the creation of sustainable quantum materials and the manipulation and understanding of medically relevant biological processes.

The Group

Our group is led by University of Calfiornia, Berkeley Physics Professor Alessandra Lanzara and a group of On campus, we are affiliated with the department of Physics, the department of Applied Science and Technology, the Center for Sustainable Materials and Innovation, and the Kavli Energy Nanoscience Institute at the University of California Berkeley. We are also affiliated with the Materials Science Division and the Advanced Light Source at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
