Mae Teo received her PhD in Physics from Stanford University in 2020, focusing on astrophysical probes for new physics beyond the Standard Model. She was a quantitative researcher at Citadel building models for equity trading, before joining UC Berkeley as a Lecturer in 2023.

I received my PhD in Physics from the Pennsylvania State University in 2020 and joined UC Berkeley as a Lecturer in 2023. My current research interest is physics education, especially how to establish a learning space where every student feels comfortable and can gain confidence in physics.

Swapan Chattopadhyay (Chaterji)

I am a particle and particle accelerator physicist. Throughout my career, I have worked on innovative high energy particle colliders, exotic light sources, free electron lasers and “ultra-fast” sciences. Recently, I have turned my attention to Quantum Science and Technology and working closely with the US Department of Energy’s Office of Science, helped establish a DOE Quantum Science program in the US in 2017.
